This special concert presents two of his most cherished works – the Arpeggione Sonata and Die schöne Müllerin – a program that showcases Schubert’s unparalleled gift for melody and deep emotional expression.

Arpeggione Sonata – A rare gem, originally composed for the now-forgotten arpeggione, this sonata remains one of Schubert’s most lyrical and expressive works. Performed on viola, it radiates warmth and charm, with passages of both delicate introspection and virtuosic brilliance.

Die schöne Müllerin – This iconic song cycle, based on the poetry of Wilhelm Müller, takes us on an emotional journey through youthful love, hope, despair, and heartbreak. Each song paints a vivid picture, from the bubbling excitement of Das Wandern to the sorrowful resignation of Der Müller und der Bach.
